![]() ![]() but allowing all of them to climb just sorta makes the walls useless. I think the climbing completely ruined Shoguns sieges. I still have a slight issue with the ninja climbers as I firmly believe that the inroads to a fort should be limited but I can forgive this issue for enjoyable sieges again. I couldn't believe Empire where in the description of a fort it mentioned that forts were built on high ground and all surrounding fauna was removed and when you got down to it your forts were in the middle of forests surrounded by rolling hills! You can tell that the defenders of these strongholds have made the effort to make them defensible by chopping down nearby trees, making use of water here and there and building their forts on hills. There is genuine tension and the little touches really make a difference. However, compared to Empire I find the sieges to be excellent. ![]() Then again that might have been one or two of the cities in M2. I especially retain a fondness for the city with the big watery bit near one or two of it's corners. It's a shame that the settlements you defend aren't more individualised I'm quite sure that in M2 I was very aware of the city I was battling for/defending by it's lay out. ![]() Its just the way Warscape functions, it does not suffer under any illusion that its just an illusion.Well said. ![]()
